Below is a list of different summer programs that the Clarkstown Soccer Club Offers.  These take place during the months of July and August and range in different skill level. Please look around and check out all the options we offer.

Experience and learn the indoor secret of South American and European soccer. FUTSAL training develops the ball mastery skills necessary to successfully compete in the outdoor game of soccer. FUTSAL is exciting and fast-paced with players constantly moving and not waiting back for the ball. FUTSAL is a sport for all ‘future athletes’, since players develop spatial reasoning, strategic thinking and skill execution. The U.S. is just catching up to what the rest of the world already knows: superior skill in soccer is built around small-sided games that make soccer fun!

2010 Elite Premier Academy Programs NOW OPEN

The Clarkstown Soccer Club is offering new Summer Premier Academy sessions throughout the summer months for the advance premier players.  You will not find a better program and coaching staff around.  The reason for this is more focus and direct coaching from our coaching staff to each player. While many programs focus on numbers for their program to make profit we are the opposite.  We are half the price of many other programs and only carry 25 players for a more direct training

1.  2010 Power, Finesse, Finish Soccer Camp
When:  July 19 - 23
Where:  Nyack High School Athletic Fields, 360 Christian Herald Drive,
Upper Nyack, NY
Time: 9am - 2pm
Cost:  Early Registration by June 1 is $140           June 2- July 19 Registration $150
$10 discount for all Clarkstown Soccer Club travel players (in additionto $140 if you register early)

Camp Director:  Coach Emily Dempsey has been coaching for the Clarkstown Soccer Club for 5 years. Her team is currently competing at the Eastern New York premier level.  Coach Dempsey is entering her 4th year as the Varsity Head Girls Soccer Coach at Nyack High School. This past year, she was named the Rockland County Coach of the Year. Several of her former players are currently playing at the collegiate level.  Emily has worked at several soccer camps and has earned a USSF National D Soccer License. Prior to her coaching career, she was a 4 year starter and captain on the Springfield College Women's Soccer team. She attended Pearl River High School where she was a 4 year starter on the girl's varsity soccer team. During her career with the Pirates, she earned All State, All Section, All County and All League status for three years in a row. As a senior captain, she led her team to the NYS Final Four for the first time in the program's history..

Camp Director: Jon Jacobs

Coach Jacobs is a graduate of Tappan Zee High School where he achieved many honors including TZ MVP, All-League, All-Section.  He was named one of the Top 5 players to watch in Rockland County by the Journal News. He went on to be a 4-year starter and 2-year captain at Albany State University where he led the Great Danes to their first NCAA tournament birth (1994) in decades.  Jacobs went on to play professionally as a goalkeeper for the New York Fever in the American Professional Soccer League (1997).  His rofessional career continued in Albany, N.Y. for the Albany Alleycats/Electric City Shockers in both the PDL and Northeast League of Indoor Soccer (NELIS) from 1998-2000.
Coach Jacobs currently works with the Lady Dutchmen Soccer program at Tappan Zee High School.  He was the Head Goalkeeper Coach for the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program (ODP) 1999-2008.  Jacobs also works with the Clarkstown Soccer Club as the head coach for the under-15 girls program that has won the Northern Counties League titles in 2007 and 2008, as well as being the club's goalkeeping trainer.  He also has years of college coaching experience as an assistant coach at Albany State University and Iona College.

Coach Jacobs holds a United States Soccer Federation National "D" License and currently teaches physical education in South Orangetown.
