The Clarkstown Soccer Club is about the develpment of our future soccer stars. 
Major League Soccer Star Alecko Eskandarian a Hit at Soccer Clinic in New City

The Clarkstown Soccer Club held a free soccer clinic that had some extra kick Saturday at Kennedy-Dells Park in New City. The clinic was hosted by Major League Soccer star Alecko Eskandarian, who drew hundreds of youth soccer players from ages 5 to 18 for the event.

Eskandarian, a native of Montvale, N.J., attended Bergen Catholic High School and the University of Virginia and is now a member of the MLS team L.A. Galaxy. With more than 125 MLS appearances and 30 goals, Eskandarian was a true gentleman in giving up his time to help youth soccer players fulfill their dreams. Eskandarian is currently injured and will miss the remainder of the 2010 MLS season.

2010 Fall Intramural League

Welcome to the Fall 2010 Intramural Soccer League.  All Team schedules are now posted please click read more to see.  Also all team coaches have been notified of their team rosters.  To view your team roster please click on the link below.

The Clarkstown will be hosting a free clinic on Saturday at 11:00am at Kennedy Park on North Main st in NewCity.  MLS STAR from LA Galaxy Alecko Eskandarian will be the guest STAR and will play with the kids.  He  will also hold an autograph session after the clinic.

U13 Girls Red Team Finalists at The Virginian Memorial Day Tournament


The 1997 Girls Red Team advanced to the Championship Game at The Virginian 35thAnnu al Memorial Day Soccer Tournament. The '97 Girls were undefeated in regular play in the Tournament, allowing only one goal against and scoring 12 goals over 5 games.  The team lost the Final to Arlington, VA in 93 degree heat on Penalty Kicks after being tied 1-1 through Overtime. 

 
U18 Boys Finalist at the Adidas Potomac Memorial day college showcase
The U18 Boys College showcase team were the finalist at the 2010 Adidas Potomac Memorial day college showcase.  A total of 16 players from the squad when down to the Discovery Soccer Complex in Boyds Maryland to compete against the best teams in the east coast.   The boys showcased a total of 18 goals and only 6 goals against in 5 games.  Playing top teams from North Carolina, Virginia, Pittsburg and New Hampshire.  The Boys were winning the finals 1-0 with only 5 min left and let up the equalizer where they went into overtime and lost 2-1.  With many college coaches onsite the boys showed there talent and respect for the game and drew a great attraction to them.  The boys will continue to play throughout the summer attend a few more showcase to increase their face time with other colleges.

 
4 Teams accepted into Top Memorial Tournaments

3 Clarkstown teams to represent the club at FC Delco Cup and 1 team at the Potomac in late May.

Best of luck to all of you and to all the other teams that will be attending the Club annual memorial day weekend tournament this year at the Virginian.
